KOBOLD has on offer their Kobold NSV level monitors to measure low-density (powdery), fine-grained bulk solids, such as plastic granules, cement, and food like flour, sugar and animal feed. The Kobold NSV level monitors work by the vibrating fork principle. The fork, specifically designed for use in bulk solids, continuously vibrates, and when it is covered by a medium, the vibration behaviour changes. When the Kobold NSV level monitors detects this change, it is displayed on a red LED. An additional relay output is provided for signal transmission.

The Kobold KSK/KSM, constructed of polyamide or polysulfone material, easily handle a variety of corrosive media, as well as all neutral media. Their light weight makes them ideally suited for systems which cannot be statically loaded, for example, non-stationary technical systems. The Kobold KSK/KSM find application in cooling circuits, water treatment and plant engineering.

Optris GmbH, has announced that the measurement range 150 °C ... 900 °C on all PI LT models is now extended to show temperatures from 20 °C. This new calibration is standard for all PI LT models. The user can activate in the PI Connect software to see image information and in addition temperature values below 150 °C. The specified accuracy in this range is valid from 150 °C.

Optris GmbH, has announced that the Optris PI 450 and PI 640 infrared cameras can now also be calibrated for a temperature measurement range of up to 1500°C. This allows the two high-resolution cameras to be integrated into applications which far exceed the previous threshold of 900°C.
