Pressure Switch with Ceramic Cell

German technology company KOBOLD Instrumentation, has manufactured two pressure switches featuring a ceramic cell, available in South Africa from Instrotech – a Comtest Group company. These cost effective pressure sensor/switches indicate actual pressure digitally. Two switch points, on/off switch delay and hysteresis are within the measuring range programmable, using the piezzo resistive ceramic sensor. Long term stability and repeatability and the compact and robust design makes these ideal for used in OEM applications, such as compressors, pumps, installations and the machinery industry.
The Kobold PDD 55&75 are ideally suited to situations where a highly accurate (with in + 0,5% of full scale) measurement is required. Housed in stainless steel the units have a switching range of 1 up to 0 bar or ... 0 up to 400 bar and can operate at a maximum temperature of 80 °C (media).
