Chem series sensors and SenixVIEW software put the power of ultrasonics in your hands. You can quickly adjust, optimize, save, and clone your applications quickly without calibration!
The CHEM 12 is housed in a rugged, chemically inert PVDF sealed housing for long life. A new shorter design and smaller diameter transducer allows for easier installation in tight locations, and measurements closer to the top of a tank. The CHEM 12 also has an improved rugged strain relief design.
Applications include pump control, bulk inventory, batch processing, water management and high/low-level alarms.
This ultrasonic level transmitter is intrinsically safe (IS) and CSA rated for Class I Division 1 hazardous areas in the US and Canada. It has a maximum range of 25 feet (7.62 meters) and is typically used for tank level measurement but can also be used for other hazardous area applications such as measuring the roll diameter on coating machinery. The transmitter sensing element is chemically resistant and the electrical connection is a two-wire loop-powered 4-20 mA output. The SafeSonic 25-L is pre-calibrated from 1 and 25 feet but can be user-calibrated to other ranges using optional accessories.
The ToughSonic 14 ultrasonic sensor has a maximum range of 14 feet (4.3 meters). Like all ToughSonic sensors, it’s built for durability and ease of use in tough industrial environments. It’s fully submersible, corrosion resistant, shock resistant and all around tough. It’s also fully configurable with our SenixVIEW software. ToughSonic 14s include our famous “Teach” feature for push button configuration. This compact sensor is used around the world on remote liquid level systems, heavy equipment, factory automation applications and more. This is our most popular sensor. For longer range applications or for chemically resistant sensors, please see our full line of ToughSonic and ToughSonic CHEM sensors.
The ToughSonic CHEM 10 is a chemically resistant ultrasonic sensor designed for applications where corrosive liquids or gasses are present, but it is an excellent choice for benign environments as well. With a maximum range of 10 feet (3 meters), it is the smallest sensor in the ToughSonic CHEM sensor family. The ToughSonic CHEM 10 is sealed in a PVDF (Kynar®) housing. It is fully submersible, chemical resistant and shock resistant. It has a permanently attached, potted-in-place 9-wire cable that allows up to six simultaneous serial, analog and/or switch outputs. It is fully configurable with SenixVIEW configuration and analysis software. Chem series sensors and SenixVIEW software put the power of ultrasonics in your hands. You can quickly adjust, optimize, save and clone your applications quickly without calibration! These sensors are housed in a rugged, chemically inert PVDF sealed housing for long life. They mount above the material surface and measure distance downward without contact. Outputs respond to that measured distance. Applications include pump control, bulk inventory, batch processing, water management and high/low level alarms.
The ToughSonic CHEM 20 is an ultrasonic sensor designed for measurement applications involving corrosive chemical liquids or gasses, but it is an excellent choice for benign materials as well. With a maximum range of 20 feet (6.1 meters), it is the mid-range option within the ToughSonic CHEM sensor family. The sensor is sealed in a PVDF (Kynar®) housing. It’s fully submersible, chemical resistant and shock resistant. The ToughSonic CHEM 20 has a permanently attached, potted-in-place 9-wire cable that allows up to six simultaneous serial, analog and/or switch outputs. The ToughSonic CHEM 35 ultrasonic sensor is designed for distance measurement applications where corrosive chemical liquids or gasses are present, but it is an excellent sensor for benign environments as well. With a maximum range of 35 feet (10.7 meters), it is the longest range member of the ToughSonic CHEM sensor family. The sensor is sealed in a PVDF (Kynar®) housing. It’s fully submersible, chemical resistant and shock resistant. These rugged, compact ultrasonic sensors inspired the “ToughSonic” name. They are Senix flagship products with heavy-duty electronics epoxy potted into type 316 stainless steel housings, with permanently attached cables and ruggedized piezoelectric transducers. ToughSonic sensors are found on remote monitoring stations from the Australian outback to Alaskan oil fields. They are installed on heavy construction and farm equipment and in some of the harshest factory environments. When an ordinary sensor just won’t do, you need a ToughSonic.
