The Optris Xi 410 LT ETH thermal camera offers non-contact infrared imaging for industrial monitoring and research applications. This fixed thermal camera with Ethernet operates in the 8–14 µm range, measuring temperatures from –20 °C to 1500 °C. With 384 × 240 pixel resolution and a high distance-to-spot ratio, the fixed infrared camera delivers precise results at long distances. Moreover, the motorised focus allows remote, precise focus adjustments.
The Xi410 LT ETH is designed for industrial environments and features a compact, waterproof housing for stationary installations.
The thermal camera connects via Ethernet at 25 Hz and USB at 4 Hz, and supports autonomous smart operation for direct integration into control systems. Features such as automatic hotspot detection, direct analogue output, and compatibility with major industrial fieldbus systems support interconnectivity. This enables thermographic analysis directly in the thermal imaging camera. An additional 1.5 Hz mode facilitates machine integration for streaming temperature data. Autonomous alarms reduce reliance on computers and network complexity.
Accessories extend the thermal imager’s capabilities: water cooling raises the operating temperature to 250 °C, while air purges keep optics clean. Furthermore, installation options, adapters, and cables ensure flexible integration into complex systems.
The included PIX Connect software platform offers advanced features, including line scanning, image merging, and comprehensive thermal data acquisition. Developer kits are available to system integrators for creating custom software solutions.
Designed and manufactured in Germany, the Xi410 LT ETH thermal camera enables early detection of fires and hotspots in material handling and storage applications. This helps identify risks before ignition. The smart thermal camera tracks thermal trends in plastics processing, electronics manufacturing, and general process engineering to reveal deviations. Additionally, it offers condition monitoring with temperature alarms and closed-loop control. Moreover, it supports safety interlocks and zone monitoring on conveyors, cabinets, and enclosures.
