Expansion Through Eltomatic A/S

On 1 January 2014, SCANCON Encoders A/S acquired Eltomatic A/S, a Danish manufacturer specialising in Ex-approved incremental encoders with more than 35 years of experience in encoder solutions for potentially explosive environments.

Eltomatic A/S continues to operate as a separate division within the Scancon Group, maintaining its established product range and commitment to quality. The acquisition significantly expanded the Group’s portfolio, enabling SCANCON to offer one of the widest ranges of encoders on the market.

By combining expertise across electronics and mechanical engineering, the Scancon Group delivers robust, reliable and precision-engineered encoder solutions for virtually all industries — designed and manufactured in Denmark.
