Instrotech ST-06-M Strain Transducers are used mainly on the supports of tanks, bins, silos and hoppers, transmitting signals proportional to the volume or level of bulk materials in vessels. Other applications include strain measurement, overload protection and vibration detection. Since the vessel supports do not need to be cut, raised up or suspended, these transducers are suited to easy installation on both new and existing structures. Manufactured to strict quality control standards under load cell conditions, stability and repeatability are assured when installed as shown overleaf. The ST-06-M is suitable for approximate measurement only and is ideal for low cost applications such as surge bin level indication and control.
