Instrotech News & Articles
Instrotech offers the latest in Optris infrared innovation, the Xi series, a fusion between a robust, compact pyrometer and an advanced IR camera. The integrated spot finder function enables accurate temperature measurements in moving objects without having to readjust the sensor. Sensor adjustment takes place autonomously, that is, without having to establish a connection with a PC. In addition to a direct 0/4-20 mA analog output, the devices also offer users digital interfaces such as Ethernet or RS-485. An external processing interface permits the further processing of up to nine (9) freely definable analog outputs, making it ideal for OEM applications.
Instrotech is pleased to announce the availability of the new Siko AP20 position indicator, ideally equipped to detect the position of spindle adjustments in machines. The Siko AP20 position indicator displays the corresponding positional data to the operator and passes it on to the machine control system. Simple system integration in combination with modern interfaces is all that is required. On the one hand, this ensures the shortest possible downtimes, on the other the interfaces provide loss-free data communication between the position indicator and the machine control system.
KOBOLD, proudly represented locally by Instrotech, has on offer a newly developed electromagnetic inductive flowmeter for conductive fluids – the KOBOLD DMH Flowmeter with a standard accuracy of ± 0.3% of reading stability of zero. It is used specifically for the measurement and monitoring of the volume flow rate of acid or alkaline fluids, potable (drinking) water, waste water, pulps, pastes and other electrically conductive materials, without loss of pressure.
SIKO presents the latest stage of development in ultra-compact magnetic sensors for industry as well as machine and plant construction. Common applications for SIKO’s latest compact sensors include linear actuators, stop adjustment for saws, and even measurement of the tracking of solar plants.
To check the flow processes in pipeline systems, flow indicators are frequently required which give an immediate visible answer to the question: "Is the medium flowing or not?"
To check the flow processes in pipeline systems and for insight into the interior of process pipes, many flow indicators are used in which the flowing medium sets a rotor turning and thus to a large extent visibly signals a flow. The special feature of Kobold’s special version Type DAA is that the rotor is housed in a glass cylinder.
Methods of farming chickens vary from country to country, however the general temperature and humidity conditions required for the three stages of chicken life-cycle are always similar. Temperature and humidity measurement are required for each stage.
Kobold has on offer their highly precise pressure measuring devices HND-P121/P231 to HND-P127, with integrated pressure sensors. They have two pressure measurement inputs on the top of the housing, that are connected to the measuring points by means of a stable metal connection and plastic hoses, available as accessories.
The motorized size changeover of machine spindles or machine axes is now being implemented in various ways. The solutions to this are often relatively rudimentary and result in the fact that no handwheel or crank is rotated, with one or more buttons being pressed instead. Whether this meets the requirements of a smart process chain or Industry 4.0 is questionable. Intelligent positioning drives can be an efficient solution in such a case.
KOBOLD has on offer type DMS digital flowmeters that, because they record the mass of gasses, are unaffected by the pressure and temperature of this medium. The measuring devices work using the bypass capillary system installation and are suitable for any installation position. The DMS digital flowmeters have no moving parts and as such the devices, available as flowmeter and flow regulator, are virtually fault-free.
